Joanne Yannagas graduated from the 2200-hour program at Grant MacEwan College in 2002. While there, she became passionate about supporting training athletes and injury rehabilitation.
In 2015, Joanne travelled to Colorado to complete her Canine Massage Certification at the Rocky Mountain School of Animal Acupressure and Massage. Now, she is able to help dogs with mobility issues, sprains/strains and injuries. She has worked in Sherwood Park in multidisciplinary clinics for most of her career.
Although Joanne’s passion is in sports injuries, she also works with clients that suffer from over-use injuries, motor vehicle accidents and general muscle stiffness. She uses a combination of deep tissue/therapeutic massage, lymph drainage, trigger point release, myofascial release and sports massage techniques.
When not in the clinic she enjoys soccer, skiing, curling and planning her next vacation!
